Viewing a property with H2L is really easy and you can arrange your viewing in a number of ways to suit you:

Whichever method you use to book your viewing, we’ll come back to you as soon as we can, either to confirm your preferred time or discuss your availability. Just so you know, Saturdays and Sundays are our busiest days and get booked up really quickly so please bear this in mind.

Most of the properties we’re marketing will be lived in and it’s only courteous to arrange an appointment first with the landlord or the current tenant. Please don’t just turn up and knock on the door.

For this reason we might not be able to call you back immediately. We might have to wait for them to return our call. There’s no need to panic by calling us more than once, as that will only confuse matters. So please be patient if we can’t attend to your request there and then. 

Once we have booked your viewing we’ll need you to confirm on the day of the viewing that you’re still going to attend. Just call 08450 177 888, selecting Option 2 to either cancel or confirm the viewing.

If you’ve seen a property you like and you just want some further information, or if you’ve got pets or are on benefits and just want to check whether the landlord will be happy to proceed with the let, please call 08450 177 888, selecting Option 3 to come through to one of our letting specialists.

On the day of the viewing, If you’re running late, or you’re lost, please call 08450 177 888 pressing Option 4 to advise us. We’re happy to wait for you for fifteen minutes after the allotted time, then we’ll leave to go to our next appointment so if you’re going to be late, please do call so as to not have a wasted journey.

If you’re viewing a house, just knock on the door when you arrive and we’ll greet you. If it’s a flat that you’re viewing it’s always worth getting out of your car and waiting at the main entrance for us so we know it’s you, and that you’ve arrived.

It’s always good for everyone who will be living at the property to view the property, rather than to book two or three separate viewings over the course of a week or two. We’d hate to disappoint you by letting the property to someone else in the meantime.

Also, we need you to be in the UK and for you to have seen the property before applying. Regretfully, we will automatically decline any application to rent a property where the person hasn’t actually viewed it.

One of our letting specialists will always attend your viewing; so if you have any questions, just ask.

It’s important to check, whilst you’re on the viewing, anything that you consider to be crucial in order for you to live there. So, if water pressure is a concern, check whilst you’re at the property. If parking is the most important thing, then check on the viewing. We’d hate for you to sign up to a six-month let, only for you to not be happy once you’ve moved in. Under these circumstances you’d be legally bound to live in the property for the duration of the tenancy.
